Why is this needed?
Problem Statement
Our cities are growing fast, but we are losing our green cover. Fewer trees mean hotter summers, dirtier air, and less natural shade for everyone.
While many people want to plant trees, most plantation drives are one-day events. Without proper care and tracking, more than half of the saplings die within a few months. Plant With Pride changes this by helping organizations and citizens plant trees, track them digitally, and make sure they grow safely.

Trees Are Owned, Not Abandoned
Every participating organisation commits to a 12-month stewardship agreement — taking full responsibility for watering, monitoring, and uploading monthly photo updates of their trees on plantwithpride.in. This is not a one-day event. This is a year-long commitment to their trees' survival.

When you plant a tree, you upload a photo through our web app. To prevent fake uploads or errors, our system uses AI to verify that it is a real plant and checks its species before showing it on the map.

Confirms the photo shows a real living plant, filtering out random objects or screenshots.
Tree Type Matching
Identifies the type of tree (like Neem or Peepal) to ensure it matches the tag.

Praaroop Foundation's verification team audits the photo, confirms species, and approves. Once approved, your official digital certificate is generated and delivered to you via WhatsApp — complete with GPS coordinates, species name, and CO₂ offset data.
CHALLENGE 3 & GROW
